Tremendous thanks to all who commented, sympathized, prayed, advised, and otherwise supported me through this horrible, frantic, grief-stricken, 5-week period. I truly had no hope left. Fortunately, a cat-loving couple rescued Sam off the streets and had him scanned. HomeAgain (who provided Sam’s chip) contacted us yesterday, and my darling is now home recovering from his ordeal.
