If you have not already done this, put something with an aroma Jessy knows by your door. It could be her food dish, cat bed, litter, favorite blanket, or even something you have worn recently but have not yet laundered. Cats self don go far when they get out and they have a strong sense of smell so a familiar scent can help lead them home. Check for Jessy often especially in the morning and around dusk when cats are most active. Also use a strong flashlight to check hiding places in the neighborhood, such as under porches, behind bushes, behind and between garbage bins and recycling containers. Double check these spots often too and be sure to call Jessy’s name when you do. That helped us find our missing cat after she was gone for three days. She meowed in answer to her name. We followed the sound and discovered her hiding in the sheltered alcove by a neighbors garage, a place we had already checked several times. Good luck! I hope Jessy is home with you very soon.
