MESSAGE FROM OWNER

Due to messed up people, our cats all have gone missing, Luna is one of them, she witnessed a tragedy and her and her sister ran off, and we had found her, nightly, in Hunter Lumber, but a family emergency prevented us from being able to persist and catch her, and been trying to find her and our other kittys since we came back. Super loved, spoiled, sheltered, and very much misssed and we are terrified for our babies. Please help us find them…

DESCRIPTION

2 1/2 smaller all black shorthair with green eyes, distinctive meow, super loving, and smart, but timid. She has had a litter and is now fixed, and chipped, sadly not registered though.

Kirsten Elkins I wish I knew, part of the trouble was we have been in a transition as far as where we live, and made poor choices as far as who would be trustworthy, or lenient, and that’s part of the reason why the kittys ran off, between the two places, and with the first initial place all our paperwork was “lost”. But they were all fixed at East Mountain Veterinary, at different times, and I have callled easily 20 times, left voicemails in all possible mailboxes, and also emailed via their site, and directly from my email as well, and I have tried each method at least 6 or 7 times, and no response at all, n after the fact I saw people saying that they couldn’t get any of their records either, and so prolly have to just go in to the place in person… I am kinda of at a loss atm…

Christopher G Timm what do the chip numbers start with? I could possibly point you to the company; there are only a few. If you have the microchip number you can look it up via the registry and then register it on the correct website. https://www.aaha.org/your-pet/pet-microchip-lookup/microchip-search/

NextDoor app is your best chance as covers your area. Be sure to check your local animal shelter in person (can’t stress - in person!!! You know your pet plus shelter workers are super busy and can’t keep up) every couple days. Follow your pets routine, as weird as it might sound, as this sometimes help. Create a scent station with items that have your smell, your cat’s smell. Bedding, clothing, cat tower, etc. Do NOT put out its litter pan as feces are often used to mark territory. You may inadvertently attract predators or territorial cats. Check in and under everything with a flashlight. Cats don’t go far and freeze in a tight ball in very small areas when scared. But they stare which is where the flashlight comes in handy. Catches the glare of their eyes, especially at night. If you cat is not spayed/neutered, may be why is “lost” and traveling further. Pray your baby is home safe and soon. https://www.missinganimalresponse.com/lost-cat-behavior/
