First thing you do it start a feeding station for kitty in your yard immediately . Kitty is hunkered down and hiding. Position the feeding station near so you can see who’s eating from it through like a window. If it’s another critter just refill and put back this will keep kitty in your yard even-though hiding. Too much noise during the day for kitty. Kitty will likely eat at the feeding station tonight. Cats prowl during the hours of 11-5am. If you see your kitty don’t be angry at it. Talk to kitty in soft loving voice when kitty comes near open the door and stand back to let kitty in. If you don’t see kitty tonight look for him during the day tomorrow. You can also walk your neighborhood but I doubt he’s left your yard unless kitty is an indoor/outdoor cat. Do not yell for kitty as he will not come out it will scare him, as they are thinking in terms of being prey and being singled out. Take your well lit flashlight and shine it down close to the ground. You may see kitty’s eyes. Walking your neighborhood will leave your scent. But 9 times out of 10 they are very near abs afraid too to move.

Put out his litter box, smelly food, pieces of your clothing. Make a chum trail with used litter or wet food in a gallon of warm water. Keep checking secluded spots, garages, bats , under vehicles. One of mine (indoor) hid 5 days in a neighbor’s bat. Had looked there several times. Go out at night with a flashlight and call him. Go repeatedly, especially late at night. Alert shelters, rescue groups, groups that feed feral colonies, vets Prayers he is soon home and safely inside.

Try a pet tracker asap. Put up flyers everywhere asap. It will help a lot. Be sure to tell people to take a picture of the flyer so they'll have your phone number too. Also people put their dirty laundry outside for the scent of home. Try calling him when it's all quiet like at 4 am or so
