Sweet Sadie is a gentle rescue pet who belonged to my mother. Sadie and Charlie were rescued from the same shelter ten years ago. An unthinking gardener left the gate to the fenced yard open and Sadie wandered off one evening, just as a thunder storm was rolling in. Sadie is terrified of thunder or any loud noises!! The thought of her being out there alone in a storm - in a state of panic - is heart wrenching. Neighbors spotted her but she ran away from them. She's nervous with strangers. If spotted, please call and do not chase her. She escaped near busy Route 14, near Long Park and Battlefield High School and has not been seen since she escaped from the yard. Charlie misses Sadie. They've been together for 10 years and she's been a part of the family since she was 3 months old. She's such a gentle and sweet girl. My mom adopted Sadie and I adopted Charlie. We were all together until Mom past and I was entrusted to continue Sadie's care. Sadie needs to come where she feels safe and can be protected. Please, if you see her...she's about 30 pounds and will not come to please call. I can come to her immediately.
