Put his used litter box and something with your scent on it outside. Make familiar noises often. He is most likely hiding very nearby. Just afraid. Put out food and water and something warm to lay in. A box or Styrofoam cooler with blankets. Leave your garage door cracked open too . Put cardboard down under a car.. that helps get off cold cement.

Report to DuPage County Animal Control, check with police, vets, neighbors and post on every social media site you know. Make a flyer, put them in a waterproof envelope and post them everywhere in the area. I hope this helps. Prayers for his safe return.
