Thank you for helping and looking out for him I really appreciate it! Unfortunately that's not him he's extremely short hair with zero fluff in his tail.

Please follow the advice in this video, it also gives insight to cat behavior. If there are any TNR organizations in your area, you can let them know in case they come by your baby. https://youtu.be/g2eCoC63B9I

If Taz is chipped - and I really hope he is - notify the microchip company right away that he’s lost. How did he get lost? Also hope that he’s an indoor cat. It’s so dangerous for cats outside. He is so handsome. Share this information on Lostmykitty.com, Petharbor.com and Nextdoor.com, maybe the Neighbors app, too. Like Pawboost, the first two have separate pages for lost and found pets, so a match often occurs. Check all three sites often. First two share their posts electronically with veterinary hospitals and shelters, which can help. Nextdoor and the Neighbors app reach the largest number of your closest neighbors and beyond. Make and post fliers all around your neighborhood, even on your car. Take some to veterinary hospitals and shelters, and check back often. While you’re out posting fliers, knock on people’s doors to see if anyone has seen him. He might be scared and hiding in a backyard or garage or anywhere he feels safe. Make them look if you can. Go out every day at a different time each day or night with treats, and call his name. Leave something of yours or his outside - a piece of clothing, a kitty bed or favorite toy - so Taz can detect the scent. Cats and dogs have a keen sense of smell. I hope you’ll have him back home and safe snide soon. He may be closer than you think. Good luck. Sharing.
