My family lost our dog last night at EDGEWATER BEACH, and I have frantically searched everywhere for her.. she slipped out of her collar that had her tags on it, but she was wearing a black harness with a black and white reflective leash attached.. She is a tan and white pit bull. Very very friendly, and adored by my family of 7.. (my husband, myself and our 5 children who are completely devastated by her absence already... I'll attach a photo taken of her just before she got away from us... Please.. if anyone See's her, reach out.. words cannot express how deeply appreciated any word on her would be... Thank you...

Do you or a family member or friend have another dog you can take around that might be able to pick up on her scent? Make a police report and report to the dog warden in case some one finds her. Check all surrounding shelters and vets in case someone found her and brought her there. Also check BST pages in case someone tries to sell her. If you go looking for her, bring some hot dogs so she can smell them and a squeaky toy so she can hear it. And most importantly- do not listen to anyone who tells you to text a number or code or to message them or to go onto Instagram or FB for "pet trackers" or "pet detectives" or "drone services" because they're scammers preying on pet owners because they want to scam people who they feel are vulnerable and should be reported and banned.
