Shared. BEWARE OF SCAMMERS !!!!!!!! Put up big neon posters everywhere and check n post on all websites. Drive around often and speak with everyone including postman and etc. Any exterior cameras including neighbors ? Go to pounds often and DON'T just call. Request a walk through. IMPORTANT !!!!!!!!

*Given the health of your dog it is crucial to do grid searches immediately near water sources and the neighborhood. Checking under bushes, porches, neighbors backyards, garages and sheds. Suggest also checking neighbors ring cameras for any sightings of your dog. *The next important thing is to put up neon lost dog signs in the area that they went missing as soon as possible. Someone may see your dog and not know how to contact you. Plus not everyone is on a social media pet site. *Please complete the online loss pet form on the Cobb County Animal shelter website in case someone finds them - see link below. Please be sure to check the animal shelter IN PERSON frequently. *Suggest you put out worn/dirty clothes with your scent or your dog’s bedding outside to leave a scent to follow home. *If your dog is microchipped, please check to be sure your contact info is current. *Recommend posting on NextDoor and PetFBI. *🚩Please be aware of scammers asking you to contact a pet recovery service, animal reunion specialist, a pet detective, a pet rescue service or to contact them using Instagram or WhatsApp or to text them a code. Also if you get a call from someone saying they’re with Animal Services/veterinary clinic and your pet has been found and needs emergency surgery that you need to pay upfront, hang up call the Animal Services/veterinary clinic directly and verify if they have your pet.
