take strips of cloth with your scent on them tie to trees bushes poles down low near ground spread out as far as a few miles in all 4 directions make sure they go from ur house in a kinda straight pattern in case cat was run off by kids cars animals it will help them smell their way home also put cat litter box on porch they will smell that to an if you have fence porch gate tie them to it front an back an sides surround ur area with their smell an URS also leave nite lights on outside an in windows it worked for me

Place used litter box outside the door he went out of, go out when dark and quiet, shake a bag of treats, call his name, look under bushes, sheds, and garages, ask neighbors to check theirs also. Shared
