Just wanted to share our experience our cat went missing for 4 days they are usually scared and close by within a 5- 10 house radius. We knocked on neighbors doors, asked to check their yards, garages or sheds, and handed out and hung flyers everywhere. And do this as often as you can day / night. Walk around Shake treats or tap food can, a toy, a sound he/she may be familiar with while calling his name and listen for a meow, we heard her meow she was in neighbors yard next door. Also heard leaving some dirty laundry outside to attract them back. Post to local and Massachusetts missing pet Facebook pages. Post on nextdoor app. Report to animal control and stay in touch with local shelters in case he is brought in they may also be able to help with a humane trap to set up. 🙏❤️

Wandering Paws K9 has great success in locating lost cats. I have a friend in Rehoboth and another in Taunton who both recently hired them and they found both of their cats. Praying 🙏🏼

Put bedding outside. Have neighbors check cellars sheds garages and vehicles. They get trapped. Look under porches and sheds etc. Have a Heart trap with tuna. Cover trap with blanket and watch trap. Look at night often with flashlight. Check attics drawers and in trees 🌲. Culverts. Flyers everywhere. Check town authorities and vets. Look at lost and found pet sites shelters in case brought in. Craigslist too. Get kids you know to help look. Check behind walls and insulation. Abandoned buildings. Leave the door open for cat or window. Make a trail of catnip.
