Alexia Evon Dekalb County Animal Services also posts recently found animals on the Lost and Found Pets of Fulton and DeKalb County site. They haven’t posted animals found yesterday yet but suggest keeping an eye out on this post especially if your dogs aren’t microchipped. An owner has 3 days to reclaim their pets in Dekalb County once the animal shelter has picked them up/been notified. Pets can legally be adopted/go to a rescue after the 3 day mandatory stray hold so its important to notify Dekalb County Animal Shelter that your dogs are missing and to check the shelter IN PERSON frequently to be sure they aren’t overlooked. 🤞🏻
