I’m so sorry your pup has gone missing. Put a big LOST DOG sign in front with bright orange poster board. The finder may be walking around to try to someone looking for their pup. The Maryland Humane Society told my dad to have family members pee in a disposable cup and mark the areas in front of your house or apt. Drag dirty underwear (I know this sounds weird ITS BECAUSE it is rubbed closely against skin all day, lots of SKIN CELLS to spread a SCENT TRAIL) of the person who is closest to your dog around the block all the way to the door you use to enter the house. Do this daily - you want to show the dog the path home and he may not pass that area every day.) You can put other dirty clothes on top of them but have underwear making contact with the ground. If you have a garage leave the garage door open enough to allow your dog to crawl in. Put a pile of dirty laundry and their bed by the door. If you don’t feel comfortable leaving garage door cracked you can prop gate to backyard open. If you live in an apartment set up everything in front of your door. Get a motion sensor camera to alert you of any motion inside garage or in front of apt. Leave food and water in their bowls there too just in case you are at work or the store when they show up. This will keep them there for at least several minutes. Ask a neighbor to be your backup in case he shows up when you’re away. The very MOST MOST mostest effective way to get your baby back is FLYERS & going DOOR TO DOOR with them. Give flyers to everyone you see. Post on every sign. Ask neighbors to put them in their windows, businesses, on your car, plaster the area fore a two mile radius. The faster the better!! Most dogs found w/in two miles of home. Give flyers to EVERY neighbor in addition to posting them around neighborhood. Not everyone has a smart phone or even a computer (elderly) and flyers blow off. CALL MICROCHIP COMPANY ASAP. Make sure your info is current! CALL MARICOPA COUNTY!!!! (MCACC) * Go to MCACC Stray Animal map tool online. Post your lost pet and look at all Found pets in the area. * Check out the PetHarbor.com website. All animals at Maricopa are only keep for 72 hours as a "Stray - Hold" then 3 become county property and may be adopted to someone else. * CALL Maricopa Lost & Found 602-372-4598. * Go every day- Alternating between MCACC and the HUMANE SOCIETY POST ON PAWBOOST REQUEST HELP FROM HARTT POST ON SHADOW I’ll be praying for you and your baby!!! I’m happy to help any way I can!!! Terri
