Make sure chip contact info is current with chip company. Post on Nextdoor and post flyers. File online lost reports with shelters. Check Craigslist lost/found and pets for sale ads. Check breed specific rescues, too.

Post to South Sac and Elk Grove,CA lost and found pets Facebook Group.File lost reports to both.If found in City ofcSac jurisdiction by animal control they will take to Frontstreet.If Elk Grove well then Elk Grove shelter.All owners aware they need to report missing to chip company and double check not only it got registered but they have your correct info.Never assume.Go into shelters every other day or two have each one look up chip Id to see if came in there system.Never rely on them calling there are times they dont.Put time into search.GO out daily even if takes awhile.Put big florescent signs up all over.Call friends family neihhbors.
