She’s a tip ear, which means she was fixed through a trap neuter return program. She might be owned , abandoned, or a colony cat. Outdoor cat shelters can be made from large storage bins; put a hole on the side, take the top down, put in some insulation on the sides, and some straw. There are many tutorials on YouTube about how to do this.

Sarah Wolff her Personally I would see if the cat could be taken off the streets. If the cat is friendly enough and everything why not. She will eventually get killed It's just a matter of time. Cats that run the streets have a very short lifespan compared to cats that are kept in the house permanently.

Gael Buhlert Well and after what my coworker said TNR programs can mess up ! My coworker adopted a cat that was roaming around her apartment complex turns out the cat was actually microchipped! They clipped his ear twice! My co worker called. Unfortunately she could not get a hold of the original owner so now the cat does have a good house. Just because it's a TNR cat doesn't mean that there's a possibility that she might not be able to be inside and be rehomed. To me it sounds like that program screwed up. To actually trap that cat twice and clip its ear twice and not even check to see if it has a microchip or to see if the cat could possibly be in a home is ridiculous.

posted this per friend… We are aware of the possibility of the cat being TNR because of the ear but because of the condition of the cat we wanted to check. She has been feeding the cat and has tried to put beds out for it but they keep being removed because it’s nearby where she works. She said the cat has been going in between two buildings where there seems to be a heated area to stay warm.
