MESSAGE FROM OWNER
Shady is an indoor/outdoor cat, and was last seen by us in our on July 4th. He is not microchipped and was not wearing his collar at the time. Two days ago, a local-area woman told us she thought he was feral and "looked sick", and had him captured sometime in July. It's possible he is being held at a Manassas-area veterinary center for examination/evaluation. His most recent veterinary exams were on June 12th and June 28th in Centreville. He's been vaccinated for rabies, distemper and leukemia, and he tested negative for FELV/FIV (feline AIDS). We had planned to chip and neuter him this summer. Shady is a shy, sweet cat who was abandoned by his former family, and is learning to trust people again. Please help us reunite with him.
DESCRIPTION
4-5 year old Male cat, intact (not neutered), short-hair black/dark brown coat with white patch at front of neck. Yellow-green eyes. Displaced toe on right hind leg. Underweight, around 6-7 lbs. He has a deep, "croaking" meow and is very shy.
