This is my friend's dog. Her ex just dropped him off in the middle of Gilbert in late May and didn't tell her where and he still has not been found. This post is not a scam.

If you haven’t done so already, please post on Nextdoor for your surrounding neighborhoods. Put up flyers all around your area and beyond. File a lost report with the MCACC at 602-372-4598. Check the shelters and Craigslist. Contact the azHARTT.org for help. They are an amazing, experienced group of volunteers that will do everything possible to help you find him. Fill out their online request form and they will contact you. Shared.

Post LOST DOG signs right away. Handwritten, bold markers, large print so they can be seen from a moving car. Key is to get them up on stop signs and cluster mailboxes right away. Knock on doors. Walk the area several times a day. Senior dogs don’t usually go far. Look in bushes under cars, shady spots. Share on the NextDoor app and Neighbors apps. Ask neighbors to check in the same areas and on their patios,,etc. it’s hot. You have to go look. Add Kota to the stray map. https://gis.maricopa.gov/ACC/Stray/index.html
