Diego may be stand-offish with strangers but he is usually a pretty relaxed guy. He likes to eat and sleeps a lot. He has never been aggressive towards humans, he plays with his brother, and I’ve never seen him attack another cat. He’s more of a lover than a fighter (if he had a theme song it would be the Steve Miller Band’s “Gangster of Love” song). LAST SEEN SUNDAY(4-11-21) AFTERNOON We last saw Diego Sunday afternoon/evening. I was a little worried Monday morning when he didn’t show for breakfast but was not concerned until evening when he had yet to show. Diego always comes home, this is not normal for him. His brother Jethro (black cat) is worried as well, he is not used to being alone. I have done a walk through at the animal shelter, have lost postings on Nextdoor, Craigslist, Facebook, GAC website, knocked on doors, and searched. OUR STORY Diego is my birthday kitty! On my 26th birthday while delivering pizza, as I waited after knocking on a door, this cute guy scales up my leg and sits on my shoulder like a parrot! It was love at first climb! Fast forward after a rescue from a crazy neighbor lady that trapped him in a cage for two days before I found and rescued him (seriously, we’ve been through it), we moved from the country to the city and we’ve been living here in Greenville for 8 years now. Unfortunately, even though Diego is neutered, he still sprays and it’s never been a problem because he’s always been an outside cat. I am afraid someone didn’t like him because of this. We are in the process of selling our house and moving. We have three more months before we are supposed to move.
