MESSAGE FROM OWNER
My indoor only kitty, Calli/F/5 yrs old, snuck out at 8pm on Friday Nov 8th while I was getting the mail. I didn't realize until 1am, and searched the area till 5am by foot. I live a few blocks from nearby trailheads (Santa Monica Mtns), so we have coyotes and bobcats and even mnt lions brazen enough to venture out this way. She's the sweetest, friendliest kitty (to humans, at least) and is a social talkative butterfly. Always wanting to play hide and seek..Still acts like a kitty. Loves to be be sung to, The hse is too quiet without her. I'm numb.I'm heartbroken, but I haven't given up hope. I'm at my wit's end, and have made flyer - some wonderful friends and neighbors have posted them, and I posted on my Facebook page, next door, IG, and talked to nearby neighbors. Unfortunately, I am disabled and 75% bedbound (adrenaline will allow you to do things you thought impossible). I feel helpless. My body has finally broke, and I can't get out of bed. I told her earlier THAT day, "You're the sweetest girl, what would I do without you?!" I didn't think she'd test me!! Please help me find my soulmate. 💔 I've tried to do all the right things... wonderful advice has been trickling in, but now that it's been more than 48 hours, I feel there's so much more I could've done. It's so cold out, I can sleep thinking of her stuck somewhere, freezing, and/or both. Or worse. I just need to find her. Need to know. Prayer and warm thoughts are greatly appreciated. Please share, and tell you kiddos that play outside a lot. She's fairly big, not fat, just long, 16 lbs.. I'm sure I'm leaving stuff out, but my brain is shutting down..
