When I lost one of my cats, I made flyers with his pictures and went around the neighborhood asking each neighbor if they saw him and giving them flyers. I went to all the veterinarians offices near us asked if I could hang up my flyer and a few buissnesses as well. I went to the animal shelter and asked if I could see the cats and if one that looked like my cat came in recently. Dont call them , it's not a reliable method to check if he might be there. Go look for yourself. If you have a house , leave his catlitter on the porch and food. It took a month to get my cat back. I went out every day when my kids were at school looking and talking to neighbors. Finally one man that lived two streets away told me he saw him at an abandoned house. I rented a cat trap put food in it and the next morning, i found him in it. I put also an ad in the newspaper. Keep checking this side , maybe somebody will find him and put him on this side.
