MESSAGE FROM OWNER

!! MISSING CAT !! Last seen Tuesday night, 5/17 I recently moved from Maxwell Park to Sequoyah and my cat Barry has gone missing. He was allowed outdoors at the old place, but never went away for so long. I'm worried he's trapped in a grge or bat, or caught in a fence or something. He may even be trying to get the 2 1/2 miles back to our old . Will you please keep an eye out? He's friendly, fixed, and microchipped. He's wearing a purple collar, but has been known to lose them from time to time. He must be hungry and thirsty by now, and maybe can't figure out which way is . I'm worried and heartbroken and appreciate your help bringing him . Thank you

Don't lost hope and don't stop taking action every day in person. Don't stop calling for him from escape point , leaving food and water out with camera ... FLYER door to door AGAIN reminding neighbors that he's still missing...replace worn FLYERS around the neighborhood - flyers work! cats in new territory HIDE even when they are hungry...continue checking the shelters from your new location to old location online daily and call /visit once weekly - lost cat ninja went missing May 17th and he was brought to a shelter last week after 71 days!!! don't rely on him being taken to shelter but include it as part of your regular search... I'm so sorry for the heartache....sending you LOVE, hope and unwaivering determination🙏🐱💖

Dear guardian - Cats will remain for months and months doing their best to survive…we are all praying for you...don't give up...Put up more flyers a few blocks out to be sure (in case there is a territorial cat keeping kitty away) ...I encourage you to talk to your neighbors AGAIN to remind them your kitty is still missing and that you need thier help to keep an eye out and to keep checking their RING camera footage... Every morning I get texts from people who find their cats while calling for them after 10pm at night..please continue to call for your cat and/or make that noise that kitty is familiar with whether it's keys jingling or treat bag crinkles or simply your calm voice...it may seem hopeless to do this but I am telling you - cover all possibilities 💖🐱 everything you do helps! It's checking ONLINE DAILY at all the nearby shelters in case he gets trapped by someone and going to the shelters and checking the shelters in your area IN PERSON every 4 or 5 days (some cats are NOT posted online at the shelters!) Post up more flyers and talking to neighbors - delivering flyers to each residence...And keep checking your motion camera pointed at wet food and water bowl daily. If you don't have one - I emplore you to get a motion activated camera and put out food/water every day... So many cases guardians are ready to give up then they finally put the camera out there (whether wifi to your phone or WILD LIFE camera with batteries no wifi) and after some days or a week they will Spot their cat - after being gone for weeks or months...spotting kitty eating the food changes everything and so many people discover this with the camera - then sometime they have to actually TRAP their cat who is in a scared, survival mode and hides from their guardians...cats are survivors and once they are back inside they go back to being your normal sweet cozy loving kitty. I didn't know about using cameras 1st year I was helping people and now I use it in every case (for disabled or seniors who can't walk around) it's a HUGE help and again this is to cover all possibilities...sending you love and hope oxoxo💖🙏 ...Many cats are found months after they've gone missing...don't stop taking action....... assume everything and take action to make sure every option is considered...replace worn flyers...remind neighbors to check bats /crawl spaces or better yet - allow YOU to...she may only meow when you call her nearby where she is stuck..and it might have to be at night!. If kitty is approachable someone may have brought your cat inside or to a shelter so you must also check the shelter every few days IN PERSON (not all cats are shown online!) and adding flyers in the neighborhood and going door to door is KEY in spreading the word to the exact people who COULD SPOT her! Wishing you LOVE and HOPE and unwavering DETERMINATION🐱🐱🙏💖

The weather is beautiful today...I too today will be continuing to post up flyers and knocking door to door to talk to neighbors for another lost cat (owner is deceased so no one else to do this). I've placed cameras to check on food being eaten - so far other kitties...inmany cases before this- this is how I've discovered 'missing' cats sometimes - sometimes get unstuck from garages then return home but have no way of getting back in - so then I try to convince them to leave the door open at night and to go out and call during the early hours /late hours...sometimes I've had to trap a cat who was just too scared or something to go back inside but once returned safety (after being trapped) went back to normal cuddly house kitty...cover all possibilities...check the shelter online daily - call and visit weekly - in some shelters like SF they put friendly cats up for adoption if they can't find the owner within 5 days..You will find him...dedicated this weekend to spreading the word in person and posting up flyers - buy lots of packing tape to post up on lampposts on both sides and painters tape to adhere to front doors if no one is home when going door to door - keep track on a printed map..this is a very helpful tool I use every time I flyer and knock on doors to distribute flyers to each resident ...sending you LOVE and HOPE and sustained determination...don't give up...I know how hard it is...he's out there...and great job on your search so far...🐱💖🙏

Dori Daniels He is alive and the coyotes did NOT get him - don't ever think this..in the 3+ years I've been helping people find their cats - I've had zero cases ending in coyotes...yes they are out there but cats are stealthy hiders and smart - he is an adult cat and will be cautious - he is ALIVE and needs continued action as you've been doing...great job ..hang in there...💖🐱
