MESSAGE FROM OWNER

!! MISSING CAT !! Last seen Tuesday night, 5/17 I recently moved from Maxwell Park to Sequoyah and my cat Barry has gone missing. He was allowed outdoors at the old place, but never went away for so long. I'm worried he's trapped in a grge or bat, or caught in a fence or something. He may even be trying to get the 2 1/2 miles back to our old . Will you please keep an eye out? He's friendly, fixed, and microchipped. He's wearing a purple collar, but has been known to lose them from time to time. He must be hungry and thirsty by now, and maybe can't figure out which way is . I'm worried and heartbroken and appreciate your help bringing him . Thank you

Barry is gray and white with yellow eyes. He was wearing a purple collar when last seen. He's microchipped, fixed, friendly, and generally street smart. Approx 11 years old. We recently moved from Maxwell Park to Sequoyah. I'm worried he's trapped in a grge or bat, or caught in a fence or something. He may even be trying to get the 2 1/2 miles back to our old .

I'm so sorry you haven't found your sweet Barry yet...he is friendly and chipped which is very helpful - continue to check the shelter ONLINE DAILY near you though do not rely solely on online. You must continue to take action in person. Talk to your neighbors in both locations..hopefully you have FLYERS now posted around the block of your new location and old home, and what's best is to knock on doors and TALK to your neighbors..your neighbors need to be aware he is missing and THE best most effective way is door to door talking and giving out flyers (or asking folks to take a photo of the flyer (save $) Get a camera in place at both locations pointed to wet food. Leave indoor access 24/7. IN some recent cases I was involved with the owner had no idea the cat was returning every few days until we placed a camera! And then we ended up having to trap the kitty because for whoever reason the cat wasn't coming inside on his own. You just never know if that' the case or he is STUCK at a neighbor's and so you must cover all possibilities. The best time to hear potential 'meows' if stuck in a garage or ?? is to walk around at night when it's quiet and call for him...in BOTH locations...late night and early morning before the sun comes up...praying for your sustained HOPE and determination and his safe journey home
