If found or spotted, Please do not approach. Take a photo of her and share it with me. Ellie is very skittish of strangers and would retreat to a water drain if one is nearby for her safety. Please help me fine her. We miss her dearly. I'm hoping someone has managed to bring her into their home out of this cold weather and keep her safe from the outside elements. Please, please contact me if you are keeping her safe. Thank-you so very much, Niki

Sharing with Prayers your baby is reunited with you very soon and with God's grace. I know this is difficult but don't give up! If she is strictly indoors then statistics are these type of cats will usually stay very close and usually only roan close to 3 to 4 houses away. You said she has a timid or skittish personality so she may be in hiding driven from fear especially if she's never been outside and the surroundings and environment is all new to her. Cats will hide up to 2 weeks even longer and not come out driven from fear. Even if she hears you calling she probably will not come out in this type of scenario. If you haven't already done so please post her on Facebook, Instagram, Nextdoor, PETFBI, Ring, Petco Love Lost, and Lost My Kitty. Lost My Kitty will send a Cat Amber Alert out, as well send 25 emails & faxes to shelters and vets, create flyers and posters for you to print and hand out to nearest neigbors/residents, local businesses, nearest vet offices, animal shelters, and posters to hang in major intersections and in the entrance and exits of all closest neighborhoods. The trap idea is very helpful as mentioned and I also recommend using this technique especially in hard to look areas and in the earliest days of her missing. Placing smelly foods in the trap is a plus like Tuna. Cats have a stronger sense of smell then we do and tuna or something fishy with strong odor will attract cats as well as other animals so when using the trap keep an open mind and make sure to check the trap frequently. Please give a flyer out in person to LifeLine Animal Shelter in Dekalb and Fulton and notify them in case she is found and brought in. Put additional cameras out where you place a trap that way you can monitor the area at night or when you don't have eyes on it and also rewind to view past events and maybe spot her around that area. Check also to see if anyone nearby feeds strays or feral. Lost cats will always stay around where someone is feeding them. Sending prayers and blessings your way. Ground searching is everything tho as well as notifying your closest neigbors/and public and asking them if YOU can search their property, especially sheds and garages where maybe she couldve ran in. Watch out for scammers stating they found your cat and then they usually ask for a code sent to your phone, etc. If anyone states they have your cat ask them for pictures. Don't give up. The first 2 weeks are critical but cats have natural survival instincts however are not wild so do as much as you can in the first 2 weeks🙏🏼❤️🐈‍⬛
