Donna Cipolla-Zabaglo Thank you for your prayers, it has been a very difficult 6 months. We've had the following sightings but they have not been confirmed by the trackers:
12/06: Stream Bed Way (white dog poking head out of the woods). We set up a feeding stations and dropped door to door flyers.
12/08: Highland Meadows Ct (white dog flashed behind one of the houses) we have a volunteer that set up a feeding station and added flyers to the mail box stations in that neighborhood.
12/09: Meadowood Stables (white or cream color loose dog running on the pastures, the woman riding her horse did not get close because she didnt want the horse to get spooked but another witness mentioned he had never seen that dog there before). We got help from the stables manager to send out a mass email to Mason Neck community and added signs to the area.
12/13: Westgrove Dog Park (two loose pitbulls, one white and one sand color wearing a harness and playing but no owner in sight)
12/25: White Oaks, Paul Springs between Rebecca Dr and Devonshire Rd. The dog was described as energetic and maybe wearing collar. I'm making additional signs this week to repost all the ones that were taken down last week.
I'm also in talks with the pet trackers to see if any of the above signs can still be tracked (if they are too old the scent tracking dogs won't pick up the scent)...
