MESSAGE FROM OWNER

Hi everyone! My Siamese looking cat named Lua is missing from my house on Crescent and Wonderland near the lookout. Has been gone since last night 5/14. She is an indoor/ outdoor cat but always stays near the house and always comes back when I call her. She was last spotted at 9 am on Thursday 5/15 near the school on Wonderland. If you see her please call me 949-939-7219. She's friendly and if you call her, she generally will walk over to you. She's polydactyl so it looks like she has thumbs. She is not chipped and didn't have her collar on.

DESCRIPTION

Siamese with all dark colors on the face, crystal blue eyes, dark chocolate color legs, and paws, polydactyl (extra toes on her paws) so she looks like she has thumbs (some say looks like cartoon paws) shes about 12 pounds medium size

AREA LAST SEEN

Los Angeles, CA 90046

ADDRESS LAST SEEN

Wonderland Ave. between the school and the top of Wonderland

DATE LAST SEEN

May 14, 2020

Cats don’t go far especially if she’s an outdoor as well it’s hard for them to get lost unless she got spooked by coyote or something and went to far or someone picked her up if she’s friendly so I would put flyers everywhere in your neighborhood also leave your door cracked open as often as you can so she can sneak back in one comfortable look for her late at night walking around quiet outside calling her name

Have you posted on Lostmykitty.com, Petharbor.com and Nextdoor.com? The first two, like Pawboost, exist to help get lost cats and dogs back home safely. All three include posts about both LOST and FOUND pets, so a match often occurs. Nextdoor reaches the largest number of your closest neighbors and beyond, depending on how many neighbors you include in your post. The more publicity/exposure, the better. Have you posted fliers all around your neighborhood, and even on your car? Gone out every day at a different time, treats in hand, calling her name? Knocked on people's doors to see if anyone has seen her? She could be hiding in someone's backyard or garage. It's been several weeks; someone could have just adopted her and decided to keep her inside (as you probably should have done if possible, especially because she's not chipped). I would take fliers to veterinary hospitals and shelters - even homeless camps - in the area and check back often. Shelters have websites that include a roster of all of their current residents. She's friendly, distinctive-looking, and polydactyl, so she should be easier to find than most cats. My guess is that she's probably been adopted by someone who thought she just was lost. I hope that you get her back, one way or another. And if/when you do, please get her chipped and try your best to keep her inside. I would be heartbroken if one of my cats or my big white beautiful Lab Willow were missing. Good luck. Sharing now.
