Hi 🥰 volunteer animal rescue person here be sure to: 1. Upload a photo of your dog to Petco love lost . It does a facial recognition search against other pets at the pound and the Humane Society as well as next door and the neighbor app. A recommend using a different photo each time if you have it because it pulls different dogs with different pictures. 2. check this group every 3 days: MCAC urgent and adoptable on Facebook. It's where they post the dogs when they're going to be euthanized. So it's really important to check it every 3 days to make sure your dog is not on there. 3. I would also keep an eye on this group it's where they post the dogs when they pick them up in the community. https://www.facebook.com/mcaccfieldofficers?mibextid=ZbWKwL Also please be sure to comment or like when people post because it runs the algorithms up and gets your ad seen by more people . It's very important. Also post on the neighbor app and the next door app. I really recommend both. All neighborhoods have ring doorbell cams and dogs show up on them. Most neighbors are on neighbor or next door so you need to be on both looking for someone posting they've seen your pet. Dogs are usually less than 1 mi from home so it's important to stay on there and watch for any posts about them.:
