MESSAGE FROM OWNER

I can't stop crying. Am worried sick about my baby I haven't seen him since he was home Tuesday night, July 6th, so he's been missing for two days now. I'm so distraught. He's been with me since he was 3 months old and is now 14 years old, so we've been together a very long time! His brother (litter mate) Cody and I are all we have for family. I don't have human children -- they are my babies, and I love them more than anything in the world. I couldn't bear to lose him. Praying he comes home. Please call or text any time, day or night, if you've seen him. Thank you. Evelyn 831-334-9142 P.S. The posting says I'm his "owner" but I'm not. I'm his MOM, and we need each other.

Thank you all for your comments and shares. I'm so utterly distraught and heartbroken. I miss my baby SO MUCH! I hadn't been apart from him for even one night in almost 14 years since he was a kitten, and it's now been 4 days since I've seen him. I've tried everything I can think of to find him and am running out of ideas. It's so unbearable not knowing where he is or what happened or whether he's okay. Praying for a miracle.

Evelyn Avanti no. We keep him inside, now that we live in the woods (though he does try to escape now and then). However, I’d like to try and help other people find their pets, if I can. Nice to see you here on Facebook, Evelyn. Hope you are well!

Plaster your neighborhood with signs (large photo, the word “lost” and phone number). No other words (except possibly pet’s name). If people are driving by, they can’t read everything and the phone number needs to be in large print. You also need to actively be calling loudly. You call his name a couple of times, stop and listen for a reply. Repeat. Cover a two block radius, starting from the outside of that radius and working back to your house, so he doesn’t follow you away from your home. It’s important to call loudly, because if he’s asleep under a bush it’s going to take time for him to wake up and realize he’s hearing your voice.
