NextDoor app is your best chance as covers your area. Be sure to check your local animal shelter in person (can’t stress - in person!!! You know your pet plus shelter workers are super busy and can’t keep up) every couple days. Follow your pets routine, as weird as it might sound, as this sometimes help. Create a scent station with items that have your smell, your cat’s smell. Bedding, clothing, cat tower, etc. and have someone check in and under everything with a flashlight. Cats don’t go far and freeze in a tight ball in very small areas when scared. But they stare which is where the flashlight comes in handy. Catches the glare of their eyes, especially at night. Cats don't usually go far from home. Put the cats used litterbox outside and some clothing that the cat likes to lay on. Check with the neighbors to see if the cat might be in their garage or shed. Walk around the area calling the cats name and take some food with you to lure the cat out in case you see or hear the cat. Post pictures of the cat around the area and on the Nextdoor app. Also, check the shelters, Craigslist and newspaper.
