Fireworks will scare them out further Actively looking is your best bet- calling their kitty names, shaking a treat bag. They could be trapped in a yard they cant get out of, on a roof ,in a tree, in someones garage. Search pacc and hssa intake and adoption side. Get out walking about 9-11 pm 2-3 mile radius calling kitty names and listening, and walk early in the morning.5-7a.m. Ask neighbors to check security cams/ ring Leave a window open for access overnight. Get flyers out in radius. Leave something out you have worn. Leave water for all living things. Post and search Tucson Lost and Found Animals ans Tucson lost/found pets Use pawboost and nextdoor

Getting a humane trap is very important part of finding a lost cat. The cats are typically close by but hiding and scared to come around. Set up a trap baited with smelly food outside the exit where he escaped. You can borrow a humane trap from a shelter like Hermitage or Pacc and they will show you how to use it. Keep searching tho on foot under between behind and inside all areas around your property and your neighbors with a flashlight to reflect eyes and a treat bag to shake. Don't give up, be positive and proactive!

Between the hours of 11pm-2am walk around your block calling his name and shaking his favorite treat bag. Make sure to take a carrier with you as he will be scared. Contact homes around your block that have SHEDS or GARAGES. Kitties will seek dark places to hide and could get locked in. It’s not hot now, but neighbors may not open their shed/garage daily/weekly trapping kitty with no food or water.
