Please reg. check shelters, asking to see hidden dogs. Lots of flyers may be helpful. www.LostMyDoggie.com can help create flyers.

Post on Lostmydoggie.com, Petharbor.com, Nextdoor.com and every other lost pets site you can find. Like Pawboost, the first two exist to reunite dogs and cats (and occasionally other pets) with their owners. Because they include posts about both LOST and FOUND pets, often there can be a match. Nextdoor reaches the largest number of your closest neighbors and beyond, depending on how many neighborhoods you include in your post. The more publicity/exposure, the better. Hopefully your dog was wearing a collar with your information and micro chipped. This is the least we can do to help identify our pets if they go missing. Make fliers and post all around the neighborhood. While you're out walking, take treats, and call his name. Go out every day at a different time each day. Lostmydoggie shares its posts electronically with veterinary hospitals and shelters, so that's added publicity. But, take fliers to them anyway, and check back often. Try leaving something of his (or yours) outside (a blanket maybe) so that if he's close by he can detect the scent. In the future please please don't leave your pets unattended in yards too many things can go wrong like they can get out and hit in traffic. Attacked by a predator. Taken by a stranger. Our pets are our responsibility and so is their safety and well-being . 80% of pets that go missing were left alone in their yard.

How did your little dog go missing? Was your dog or an ID tags with your phone number? Or micro chipped?

Could this be your pup? A friend’s neighbor found him last night. I sent an email to the Pawboost message.
