I just sent the poster an email. I hope to not be the bearer of bad news, but...there was a dead husky reported yesterday on Hegenberger near Hawley (which is close to Coliseum BART), on the side of Hegenberger headed toward the airport. You might drive by there to see whether Animal Services has picked up the body yet, and if they have, check with Oakland Animal Services to see if this was your dog. I believe they take pictures.
