I believe I have found him, but cant catch him. I was by the QT /daycare/ McDonald's area, just about to finish looking for the night and saw him in the little drainage gravel area btwn the shops and the highway. I got out of my car to look at him closer, I called his name, he stopped looked at my eyes/face and meowed, very timidly. Right when I was trying to turn on the phone light , a really loud car went by and scared him off. I was so bummed. 🥹😢
He is so shy, and would hide behind the dryer, for a whole day after company left our house. I cannot find him now!. But I knew him right away and he recognized me too. So he is actually across the highway from my neighborhood. Probably got chased through one of the big water retention cs/ culverts here in Maricopa, that go under the highway to the other side.
So, my hope is restored, and not giving up yet. He has been gone since April! My poor little fellah❤️
Ps, he looked skinny, but his beautiful coat was shiny and healthy. He's been vaccinated so hopefully immune. He didn't look all like all the other scragglers around the area 😑 They all just wave me on now. "Nope, havent seen him. Keep movin"
