NextDoor app is your best chance as covers your area. Be sure to check your local animal shelter in person (can’t stress enough - in person!!! You know your pet best plus shelter workers are busy and can’t keep up) every couple days. Follow your pets routine, as weird as it might sound, as this sometimes help. Put something out (bedding, towels, clothing, cat tower, etc) with your and/or pet’s smell. If this is a cat, they usually do not travel far. Will find a tiny tight space to crouch in (inside or outside your home) and will freeze and stare. Check with a flashlight (especially at night as dark) as it will capture the glow in their eyes. Pray your baby is home safe and soon. https://petfbi.org/i-lost-a-cat/tips-to-lure-a-cat-back-home-2/

Thanks for all the tips. All have been done. I only seem to attract every cat but mine. It was just over 2 weeks when she returned last time. We have passed that mark so I hunt every day. Ill the neighbor cats follow me around because I have treats... I am not giving up.

Cats are sensitive to smells so use familiar scents to guide him home. Put out UNCLEANED favorite clothing/blanket that smells like owner and cat. Place favorite stinky food like tuna or KFC, preferably in a humane cat trap which can be rented from local shelter. Walk around neighborhood calling cat and shaking treat bag. Post on the free services Nextdoor.com and Pawboost.com. Go to each neighbor house with pics of the cat because sometimes they get shut in garages or sheds accidentally. Check out the shelters in person every other day and ask to see ferals because sometimes they get scared and act feral. Professional trappers also spread owner's urine in yard area. Hopefully you can be reunited soon!
