Bridget Cady Do hope so since the other possibilities are so hard to imagine. So sorry he is gone. But animals have returned after extended absence before but unlikely, sad to say.

Just know Blue is okay, safe, warm with caring folks who probably won't feel happy to share him back. My first Otto's failed guardians never sought after him 1998/99, but you've been diligent. I never would have given Otto back because he'd been abandoned, but Blue never was.

Had he ever again been lost after June, 1999, my late Otto the First (1998-2014) would have loved such enduring support.

Said I won't do this any more, but since I started with Blue before that, he's still around, but not so snug and comfy as before. Perhaps Blue's embarked on his own Incredible Journey home.
