Aww. Simba is a beautiful mackerel orange tabby cat (ginger) — I’m sorry he is lost. Is Simba an escaped indoor cat or is he allowed outside? His familiarity with the outdoors will dictate how to find him. Escaped indoor cats usually hide close by but are too frightened to return or respond when called; while a cat that knows its way around may have become stuck somewhere and needs help getting home. I have recovered many lost cats and assisted others so if you tell me about Simba I can provide complete instructions that may help.
Meanwhile, please continue to remind neighbors he's lost using signs, flyers, and Nextdoor — Simba may have been seen or fed by someone nearby who has no idea where he belongs. When posting on Nextdoor, make sure the title sentence of your post includes a description and location; e.g., "Lost orange tabby cat @ (street name) on 9/" rather than "Lost cat" to distinguish it from other posts, allowing members to search for it and know what to look for without having to click on the link in the digest. Also, comment frequently to keep it in the newsfeed. The same holds true for Facebook. Perhaps this video will revive hope of finding Simba.
