MESSAGE FROM OWNER

Our beloved dachshund, Earl, has gone missing in Northern AZ while we were camping. He was out with my husband and our other dogs on a walk playing and having a great time between 1:00PM-2:00PM Sunday the 21st of July, when a herd of cattle came running through the area and startled Earl and one of our other dogs. My husband chased them in flip flops through the rocky forest and high grass it was hard to see them, but when he got to the road where he assumed both pups were, only one of our dogs was to be found. My husband back tracked to camp thinking Earl turned around at some point, but when he arrived to our camp and told me what happened, Earl wasn’t here. Immediately We started searching, we searched until midnight that night, and we’ve searched every single day and night for 11 days now. He’s been posted in all the local groups. We are still here searching for him as we do not want to go without him. We think another camper, a tourist, or even a well-meaning local might have picked Earl up, as it was broad daylight and he just disappeared in an instant. Not even a peep. We are desperate to bring Earl . He is very well loved and extremely missed by his family. Please if you can check with your family, friends, co workers, and neighbors, to see if anyone picked him up, as many folks might not be on social media. This is why we need people to ask around. Also, please if local to the area could you also check your grges, barns, old cars/trucks, storage sheds, check workshops, warehouses, worksites etc. as he’s small and he can burrow and hide easily. If you have a second and are coming this way please check your property or ask the person who might take care of your second to check your property for Earl. If you know anyone that was camping in or traveling through this area around the time he went missing please ask them if they might have seen him or picked him up, or if they know someone who did. If you work at a veterinarian clinic anywhere along the i40 (flagstaff, Williams, Ashfork, Chino valley, Seligman, Kingman etc) please watch for someone trying to bring Earl in as lost and trying to see if he has a chip, or watch for someone trying to claim that he’s their Pup. His markings and coloring is very distinctive. And, Earl is Microchipped to us, his microchip is up to date. We have photos and vet records as well to prove he’s our pup. We need his face to reach everyone it can, as we absolutely must bring Earl . Earl is very sweet and docile, he’s not a barker. He does howl sometimes, only when he’s not with us. He's very bonded with us. Earl eats a homemade diet because he’s super picky. He gets cold easily. He must have blankets to burrow under. He loves to play with his dog and cat siblings, so he is pet friendly. If you spot him Please don’t startle or chase him. Please keep eyes on him quietly, and Alert us right away to his location or sighting, or alert the local animal control or the Northern Arizona Animal Search and Rescue group who are all aware that he’s missing too. We are offering a VERY generous reward for Earls safe return. NO questions asked!! Exchange to be made in a public place once we know you have Earl and are willing to return him. We won’t be responding to scammers or entering any codes. Please contact us if you have an information on our Earl, or if you have any ideas that could help us find him. Or if you’re sed in tracking lost pups or have search and rescue dogs that can pick up a scent and track it, we’d love to hear from You. Lastly, If all else, if you believe in God, could you please Pray for Earls safe return to his family? I believe in prayer, and I truly believe the more people praying for Earls return the faster we will get him ! If you have a prayer group please add Earl to your prayer group too. Or you can also send positive thoughts, white light, and good juju if that’s your thing! Thank you for your help in bringing Earl !!🙏🏻🙏🏻

Sadly, our little Earl is still missing. 10 weeks today.😢😢💔💔 We do have hope, we have not given up, and please don’t suggest otherwise. We’ve heard countless stories of little dogs being lost for months and then found. I know it’s hard to believe but many say the little dogs survive better than the big dogs in cases like this because little dogs can burrow and hide easy. As far as an update, We’ve actually had some sightings!! The most viable came from a sighting via a hunter who contacted me a few weeks ago off the 74 near Spring Valley, about 7 miles from where he went missing, but he got scared and headed northwest & we haven’t had a sighting since. He did say Earl was very thin and dirty, so it might be hard to recognize him, but please look out for anything small and moving. We’ve personally continued to search the area weekly. There are flyers up all along throughout there because although no other sightings have come in since, we are hopeful the next round of hunters can help look for him too. As we had a couple hunters kindly text us and say they were looking for him daily while out. We truly appreciate that!! TY!!🙏🏻🙏🏻 We’ve also had a couple sightings in the town of Williams, one near the train station and one of him in a car. If anyone has Earl, or if you know of someone who possibly has Earl, please know he is DEARLY MISSED and VERY LOVED, he’s apart of our family, and we want to take him home!! Obviously we love him or we wouldn’t still be searching at 10 weeks!! Please contact us if you have him!! We will gladly exchange the reward money for his safe return and no questions will be asked!! I know he’s lovable & anyone who finds him would want to keep him, but please return him to us.🙏🏻🙏🏻 With these sightings that have come in, it’s why it’s important that everyone continues to share Earl, even if it’s once a week. We truly need to keep his face circulating everywhere!! Please, I beg of you, if you know any hunters or campers or hikers coming up to 7 west or 7 east for the next round of hunting, or for leisure before winter sets in, please share Earls photo and story with them. We think he could be anywhere between the 72 and the 74 roads. It’s a large stretch so we need the hunters, campers, hikers etc help! Please just quietly keeping an eye out for him. In addition, If you happen to see anyone locally with a dog matching Earls description please notify us as well, you never know it could be him!! It’s not unheard of of people finding and keeping dogs, and remember Earl went missing in broad daylight!! It’s been suggested to us by many that they truly think someone could have him. He’s a unique looking little guy. Obviously, we don’t know where he is so we have to keep all options on the table and follow up on all sightings. Also, as the weather changes soon he could seek shelter, please continue to check old barns, any outdoor structures, under porches, under vehicles or trailers, under RVs,etc. even ask your neighbors who might not have social media to continue to keep an eye out. Again, We are offering a large and generous Reward for Earls safe return! Exchange would take place in a public setting, and only if we know Earl is Alive and well. Again, No questions asked! We just want to find him and take him home!🙏🏻🙏🏻 Please note We are still in the area regularly looking for Earl, please contact me anytime day or night with any valid sightings or tips. If you have a sighting in the forest and can get GPS the coordinates that would be helpful and so awesome, or if you could note anything such as any landmarks, water tanks etc that could identify the area you saw him that would be much appreciated. Please don’t chase him or call out. Just snap a photo if possible and log coordinates or landmarks for us. If your able to set down food and water and leave it that would be a perfect! If you have a sighting in town and can get the location address, a vehicle description, a plate number etc that would be so very helpful too.🙏🏻🙏🏻 If you’re able to pray for Earls safety and safe return we would greatly appreciate it. Please if you have a prayer group could you add Earl to that prayer group for us?? As the more prayers for Earl the better!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻 We truly appreciate the community’s help, any and all genuine help is greatly appreciated! 🙏🏻🙏🏻 P.S once Earl is located we will will update all the groups, and remove all the flyers. I’ll try to remove the posts in the groups as well, to the best of my ability. Please help us keep his face and story circulating. We just want to bring Earl home!🙏🏻🙏🏻 If you too the time to read all this thank you! https://www.facebook.com/share/p/7J6kyVNBueZKbHmA/?mibextid=WC7FNe

Unfortunately, there are still No updates on Earl yet, but we are absolutely still searching, and keeping the word out there, and we are hopeful for his safe return. 🙏🏻 Please continue to share his pawboost. We need to keep his face circulating social media to ensure if someone did pick him up that neighbors, friends, family, or co workers, etc might see Earl with that person and alert us. Please also pray for Earls safety, and safe return to his family! 🙏🏻🙏🏻Thank you all very much!!
