My husband and I spotted this young parakeet in a tree across the street from the Vienna Metro Station in Virginia. We were able to coax it down from the tree and capture it. We have brought it to a friend who has other parakeets to foster it for us temporarily, but we are looking for its rightful family. Please contact me soon if you think this bird is yours, as our friend can only keep it for a little while! Thanks so much!

Yeah, their bird is 2 years old. They said the bird that was found is too young. You don’t know unless you try. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Rhonda Stahlman Bell I think this bird is older than ours, but I sent this photo and asked my friend just in case, since he has much more knowledge of parakeets than I do. It definitely has similar markings, but it looks bigger.
