Put his litter box outside along with a piece of your unwashed clothing. Extra yummy food spread around helps, too. Also, leave a window open just enough to hear him and stay up really late and listen carefully. I know of two people who heard their cat calling at 2:30 am. Lastly, go out after dark with a strong flash Light and look under every bush, no matter how small. I found one of my cats hiding in a corner, behind a clump of grass. Good luck
