I saw this bird near my bird feeder in Rockville today. I think it might be a Budgerigar parakeet. It had a bright yellow back with black lines on its tail and a green belly. It flew away when I tried to approach it.

A small, bright yellow budgerigar was seen next to a birdfeeder in our backyard. I could not take a picture because it was chased by a squirrel and flew away. I will give an update if it shows up again.
