Chloe Female Dog

LOST PET ID: 9245792

Kershaw, SC 29067

Black and tan chihuahua If you wonder “why” I miss Chloe, it’s not that she is a dog. She is part of our family. She is one of two dogs that were my Dads when he was killed in a freak accident 3 years ago in Oklahoma/Texas border lake Rv park and was put into a dog pound right after he was found. I traveled from South Carolina to pick them up so they would not be left behind. Since their travels here Chloe went to a couple of friends home to be a companion to a family with a young child who loved her but after a time she came back home to us. She was always eager to greet anyone who pulled into our yard and who was allowed to be on our breezeway she knew they were part of our clan and she didn’t have to be protective. My Dad was living alone with the two dogs. He was a Vietnam Veteran, Green Beret, Special Forces Master Sargeant with many medals and accomplishments. These were his last two companions. I felt it was my responsibility to bring them to live out their lives with people who care and love them. The person who was seen on our camera taking her, came onto our property which our house burned down in April and the house demolition started the week this person came onto our property which is posted throughout “no trespassing, violators will be prosecuted” etc all over and onto the buildings themselves. We have over 8 acres, the house sits in the middle, the camera shows this person behind our house and shop with our dog. That is the last person to see her or have her. She denied having her until I told her I have picture of her with Chloe, then the story changed to she no longer has her. She came again with her vehicle and was parked by our demolished house the following day after a report was made and my neighbor came to check on my property knowing I wasn’t home and that person took off in her vehicle when she seen my neighbor on the side by side. She did not bring Chloe or stick around to explain why she was on the property or parked by the demolished debris. Enforcement was called and trespass issued but still no Chloe. Since then we have not heard from Chloe or seen her. ***Reward when returned*** #Chloecomehome #notjustadog

Take advantage of online platforms – they help you get the word out, quickly and easily. You can report your lost pet to PawBoost in no time flat. We’ll send an email alert to our local members, post to the PawBoost-powered Facebook page for your area, add your pet to our lost & found, and make a lost pet flyer – all for free.

Other sites that help you raise local awareness for your lost pet with minimal time and effort are Nextdoor.com – a PawBoost partner – and Craigslist. Both of these sites have very active lost & found sections mainly used for lost pets. We highly recommend you use these resources in addition to PawBoost!

If chipped, make sure your pet’s microchip is registered and up to date. If you don’t know your pet’s chip manufacturer or number, your vet should be able to help locate this information.

Put up flyers and tell your neighbors to be on the lookout. The more you engage the community, the better your chances of a happy reunion!
