This cutie showed up yesterday with my usual colony kitties I feed, and was absolutely freezing, like he was visibly shivering and lifting his paws cus they must’ve been so cold. I then quickly realized he’s actually the biggest sweetheart who just wants to be loved and warm inside! :( I have cat shelters out there, but no matter which way I tried to entice him to go in them, he refused/was too unsure of them. Long story short, he was meowing and crying and just following me everywhere I went while I made my rounds feeding my other ferals - so I decided to see if he’d let me pick him up, and to my surprise, he did and just snuggled right into my arms. I snuck him past my neighbors’ units and brought him in my enclosed porch where he has just been the biggest love bug. All he wants are pets, cuddles and to be told how handsome he is. He hasn’t even tried to explore the rest of my building, he’s literally just stayed by my side purring and enjoying all the attention this whole time. I wish SO badly I could bring him in place, honestly I wish I could add him to my fur baby family - but I’m maxed out on space with my own cats in a small apmt, along with one of my senior cats not doing so well, so it’s just not an option for me right now sadly. :’( Male, not neutered. I’ll be bringing him to get checked for a chip later today, and I REALLY hope he has a loving family that’s looking for and missing him, but unfortunately I think it’s more likely he may just be one of the many strays or dumped animals that are all around this neighborhood. :( Proof of ownership will be required.
