I don’t see that my update posted here- sorry if this is redundant. On my second visit to feed her yesterday, I was able to attach my leash to her collar! First, I took her to Critter Fixer to scan for chip, but she doesn’t have one. Then, I took her to the ER clinic on Russell and she’s in bad shape! Her right leg is broken in 3 places...broken apart! The vet said by the looks of her X-rays, she was most likely hit by a car about a month ago. She is going to need that leg amputated, and she is emaciated! All bones protruding, and she wouldn’t have lasted much longer! No one was leaving food out for her, and she was starving & severely injured. She was so desperate! Anyway, she is super sweet & cries when I’m out of her sight. I plan to take her to my vet in Fort Valley as she will need vaccines & heart worm test. We cannot afford the surgery, so I am hoping to raise the money quickly. She’s an excellent GSD!!
