Fairfax County does everything possible to find cats and dogs owners or adopt them! Not all shelters are High Kill shelters!!!!

Please don’t scare people away from taking cats to shelters. First, that’s generally the place someone looks for a lost pet. Second, not every shelter euthanizes animals, especially ones that may be pets. Many rescues are also full. I can almost guarantee everyone you named here is full. Often this is why finders put cats back out, because they cannot keep them or find a rescue to take them, or find the time to call around to several rescues, and people turn them off of the one place that does take them.
