Pets Reunited And Counting!
"Max went out for a routine morning with his sister Sadie and within five minutes they disappeared. They have done this a couple of times, but usually return within a few minutes. This time, only Sadie returned with Max nowhere in sight. We immediately started calling shelters and tried to press the word on social media. That’s when I learned about PawBoost and, as soon as I was done filling out Max’s information, it was uploaded to every social media website I could think of.
The missing pet alert had gotten thousands of shares in just a couple of days. One of these shares ended up getting us Max back because someone recognized him! Max was missing for twelve days before we were reunited. "One of my grandchildren did not close the door completely and, when the other dogs went out, Jackie followed. When it began raining the other dogs came in, but Jackie is sixteen years old and can't see or hear very well. She couldn't find her way home. She ended up going even further away from home. She was found about two and a half to three miles from home in the middle of the street. Cars were going around her and a lady picked her up to look after her. "Shadow escaped our backyard by going under the fence. When I returned from work, I noticed he was not at the door to greet me with his usual happy self. I got in my car and drove around the neighborhood for hours with no luck. I filled out his information for local shelters and created a lost pet alert through PawBoost. The teen who had been keeping Shadow safe in his home saw my PawBoost alert on Facebook the next afternoon. He messaged me and my husband and we immediately rushed over to pick Shadow up. "Kirby managed to sneak outside during the night. By the time I realized he was missing, the trail had gone cold. I looked high and low for my pup, but Kirby was nowhere to be found. "Our side gate was left open by our landscapers and it seems Rocky walked out to roam the neighborhood. We came home after work to find the gate open and Rocky missing. Luckily, a member of the PawBoost community found Rocky’s notice at local shelter and replied to my PawBoost alert with the information. A Good Samaritan found him about three to four blocks from our house and dropped him off at the shelter. Rocky was missing for four to six hours before we were reunited. "This friendly and energetic German shepherd came bounding into our backyard. He had no collar, so we opened our garage and he went to the laundry room door wanting to go in the house. This pup was clearly a pet and had not been lost for long from his looks. We put an alert on Next Door and PawBoost. The owners were just down the road and had been out looking for him. When they returned home, they saw our alert through PawBoost and immediately contacted us. Soon after, the owner cane to pick up their pup, Ranger. The owner had been searching for a couple hours when they saw the PawBoost found pet alert. We’re so glad that Ranger was able to be reunited with his owners so quickly!"

"I was walking in the woods with the owner and Odie got loose and ran off. Three people helped search for him for four hours, but we had no luck in locating Odie on our own. PawBoost is the reason Odie was found. Within an hour of creating Odor’s lost pet alert, we received a message from the local shelter, even though they were closed, saying he was there! Apparently, someone found him within half an hour and took him to the shelter. We were so worried all night because of the coyotes and bobcats in the area he went missing. "Mēo broke an old window in the basement and managed to escape. I looked for him all over, but didn’t find any sign of him. I decided to create an alert through PawBoost to cover my bases in case he was found by someone other than me. A woman put up a found pet alert on PawBoost with a picture of Mēo and said she'd been feeding him outside for four days. She also put her phone number in the alert so I could reach her directly. "Zeus was out with my partner in the garage while I was traveling for work. We were on Facetime when it happened and he got frantic because he could not find him at all while the garage door was open. Zeus is a senior dog and is also suffering from dementia. He was gone for a week and we were getting worried. Then I found out about PawBoost and created a lost pet alert for him there.
Thankfully, someone texted my phone in a matter of minutes and sent me a screenshot of our local dog pound with his picture in it. So thankful for PawBoost for helping us find our beloved dog! The local shelter called me and verified that it really was Zeus. A neighbor saw him roaming around and turned him in after two days. "The front door was accidentally left open. Bruno is a natural explorer, so he went to explore. When we noticed Bruno was gone, it had already been about an hour, as we thought he was in his usual spot under the couch. "Skittles flew out the house when a friend came to visit. My family tracked him for a while until he flew further away, out of sight. A week later when I came to visit for Thanksgiving, someone thought they might have seen Skittles at their bird feeder, so we tried to look for him there. We even left the cage out to see if he'd find his way to it. After a while of hoping and praying, we figured he was gone for good.
I hand-fed him when he was a baby, and he is definitely feisty, but still domesticated. I was so concerned that he wouldn't survive the wild. After a while I wasn't looking on PawBoost anymore to see if Skittles had been found, but I'm so glad the PawBoost community was still looking out! "Zero went chasing deer or something while I was taking him out on our usual routine. I looked all over for him, but Zero was long gone and I couldn’t find any signs of him. "Suzy has a habit of digging and has to be supervised while outside. This time she was left alone for a few minutes and followed her heart to freedom. "Zero ran at us from a hedge while we were out walking our dogs. He was very scared and skittish of our dogs, especially our puppy, but our senior dog was able to get his attention. We cooed and begged for him to get closer to the point that I was able to grab him. Our puppy loved picking on him while he chased the rest of our dogs in the yard.

"This dog came up to my kids in our yard and hung around with us all day. I had walked door to door for a good hour with no one recognizing her. I had multiple people reach out to me via PawBoost about a missing dog from 40 minutes (25 miles) away from where I live. After some time, a few people came out to see if it was their missing dog, and it was!
Cinnamon roamed 25 miles from where she went missing. I didn't think it could have been her based on the distance, but once her people came, I quickly realized it was definitely possible! It took only a couple minutes after creating an alert on PawBoost for several people to start reaching out! Since we wouldn't have been able to hold the dog due to our own pets not getting along, I was so worried that she would have had to just be outside in the elements. If I hadn't created a PawBoost alert, who knows how much further she would have traveled."

"Rocky, our 2-year-old male schnauzer, found soft ground from the heavy rains and dug under the fence. He squeezed out leaving his sister Lili crying in the back yard. I had just left the house ten minutes beforehand and I think he wanted to find me. A kind neighbor saw Rocky running down the street and called me. I immediately turned around and came home to find Lili desperately trying to get out to follow him. My neighbor, her husband and I searched for over two hours, but there was no sign of him.
I saw many people walking and although no one had seen him, many people took my number in case they did see him. I posted on the Nextdoor app, PawBoost, and called the NRH Animal Services. A couple hours later, I received a private message from a woman who said her husband found Rocky and took him home for safe keeping! He even gave Rocky a bath to remove all the mud. I was able to pick him up shortly after receiving the good news. Rocky was missing for a bit over three hours. Rocky’s finders used PawBoost to locate me."

"Our brave little barn kitten snuck out while we were letting the dogs out to go potty later in the evening. She usually comes in during the night, but for some reason she didn’t that evening. We noticed in the morning that she was missing when she didn’t come for breakfast. Our neighbors who live two doors down from us saw the flyer that I left under their welcome mat. They messaged me using PawBoost and then texted me as well.
They had footage from their ring camera of two gray cats. The first was a stray I’d seen in the neighborhood, but the second was our missing kitten. They soon followed up to tell me they thought she might be under their back shed. I rushed home, looked underneath, and I saw Anya looking back at me! I can’t tell you how relieved I was. "Hank broke through a window screen and got out. We never leave the windows open, and we were devastated. We posted roughly 300 flyers and posted on every social media and lost pet website you could think of. PawBoost was recommended by many friends and neighbors, so we got to work! We left out food, clothing, and toys with a familiar scent. It kept raining and raining, but if you make a big enough neon poster, someone is bound to see!
Thirteen days later, someone found him a little over a mile away! A long journey for our seven month old little guy. Thank goodness word had spread and the neighbor that found him got in touch with her other cat-loving neighbor. She raced over to where he was last seen and looked all around. Finally, she found him.

"Snickers used his nose to pry open the front door when my boyfriend went out to get something out of the car and we didn’t notice. "I let Willow out like I would any other morning and began cooking breakfast. Around 15-20 minutes later I went to check on her, as she usually comes back in around that time. "We found this adorable dog walking around on the street. She seemed skittish, but clearly came from a loving home. "My youngest child left our side gate of the yard open. We left to get food and, when we got home, both puppies were missing. We spent over four hours running through the desert looking for them. They ended up being over three miles away on the other side of the road near a highway. PawBoost was how we were able to find our pups. "Olivia loves to be outside. She has decided that our large back yard no longer holds her attention, so has taken to going over the fence and exploring the neighbors' yards. She evidently made contact with the neighbor's dog, who chased her up a tall tree in their backyard. We printed flyers and passed them around the neighborhood.
Thanks to PawBoost, I learned that she was within a five house radius and that she probably wouldn't respond during the day. We put the flyers in the neighbors' mailboxes in a five house radius. I went out and called out at about 10:30 PM and could hear her crying.
I followed her cries to the neighbor's backyard, and he was already out there looking because he had heard her too and had been alerted by the PawBoost poster. He actually climbed up the tree and got her after enticing her down for about 30 minutes. Olivia was gone for almost exactly 24 hours. I've already told my neighbors to use PawBoost if their pets go missing. PawBoost is a great service for pet owners!"

"Marshall wandered too far from home and went missing. I looked all over for him while calling out for him, but he must have found a good hiding spot. "Toñito is a male cat and isn’t neutered yet because he was in a treatment for asthma before he suddenly escaped. I was looking for him through social media and looked for him in neighborhoods for miles and miles. In fact, there were two attempts where people believed they saw him, one of which was through PawBoost. Thanks to this valuable service, we were able to reunite with Toñito!
I was beginning to lose hope when we were suddenly connected with someone who was able to bring us together with Toñito. I received an email by through the PawBoost portal from an amazing gentleman who said he saw our alert for Toñito and had found a cat who seemed asthmatic. "It was snowing as I was walking Shiloh around the neighborhood and his collar got loose. Shiloh managed to wriggle free and started to run around in the snow, excited. I tried to run after him, but he was much too fast for me. I contacted PawBoost and they did all of the work for me. "We just moved into a rental house and there’s a broken board in the privacy fence. While we were planting in the backyard, Tiny somehow wiggled through the hole and took off. "We had a friend who thought our gate was secured, however it wasn't. They obviously felt awful when we realized what had happened, but it was too late. PawBoost was a lifesaver! We created the missing pet alert, shared it on social websites and waited for someone to reach out while going to countless shelters, posting flyers, etc.
Then, around 5:00 AM today, someone saw the alert and reached out to us to tell us that they had seen our sweet Cain! They recognized him as the same as the one they had seen on PawBoost! They told us where and exchanged numbers with us so that they could call if they saw him again! After a few hours of canvassing that neighborhood, we saw him!
A couple minutes after finding him, the boyfriend of the young lady that had contacted us showed up. He was out looking for him too. Our hearts couldn't be more full and we are so thankful! Losing a pet is so hard and it can happen to anyone. We can't wait for our boys to get home from school and see that their sweet boy is home! Cain was missing for 20 incredibly long days. "While I was walking my dog, this pup came running up from the nearby railroad tracks. I stopped and cooed to her. After circling a few times, she came to me and let me handle her harness. I created a found pet alert on PawBoost when I got home and was immediately emailed by her owners. Someone noticed her PawBoost alert on Facebook and connected us. It only took around an hour and a half to reunite this pup with her owners. I’ve used PawBoost before when I lost my dog years ago. The pet community here is amazing!"

"We heard some crying and someone talking outside our house at around 2:00 AM. We opened the door and there was a guy talking to a cat, he was apologetic for rousing us. There was a cat is in the middle of the road crying, not moving, and he didn’t want him to get run over. The man was scared to move him as he didn't know if the cat was hurt. The cat was very friendly, but you could tell he was scared and tired. I grabbed a towel and wrapped him and brought him inside. We still had some of our passed cats' belongings, so we gave him some water and food. We took some pictures and posted them to all social media platforms and created a found pet alert through PawBoost.
We looked at possible matches provided by PawBoost and saw one in particular that looked like the cat we found, and it was pretty close to where we live. So, I contacted the owner and sent extra pictures and we agreed to meet up. It took us about four hours to connect with the owner of the cat after creating the alert, but the cat had been missing for around three weeks. Social media is a powerful tool. PawBoost is the go-to for missing and found pets and has a great number of followers so you know you can reach a lot of people. PawBoost’s community is always there to help and spread the word. A couple of years ago, we found a Husky and were able to reunite him with his owner the same day, a few hours after we found him, also thanks to PawBoost."
