Message from Owner

Please help find Bixie Missing from Park Road, Low Moor next to Harold Park. Last seen Friday 24th April. Bixie is a Long haired female tortoises cat. She is very shy and nervous. Chipped but registered to an old address in Bailiff Bridge, Brighouse. I have had her since birth, very unlike her to disappear. Any information good or bad please contact

Contact your microchip company and make sure your contact details are up to date and let them know she is missing and ask them to flag on their system. Ask neighbours if you can go with them to check their sheds and garages in case she is stuck or hiding inside. Ask them to leave them open for half hour to allow a cat to leave. Scent your area - put some of the contents of your hoover outside, some unwashed clothes and her blanket, cats have a very sensitive sense of smell and the scent may entice her home. You can get posters printed free from doxdirect.com to display in the area and vets etc. Leaflet neighbours not everyone is on social media. Check underneath bushes and shrubs, underneath decking, behind bins, up trees. Cats are more active late at night and in the early hours of the morning. Check the same places each time, cats move around. Ask neighbours to check their doorbell cameras for her wandering around. Ask milkman, delivery drivers etc to keep an eye out for her. Hope you find her, I am at the other side of Harold Park and I will keep an eye out too.
