Please, if anyone has seen my cat, let me know. We recently moved into a new hse , this past Sunday, April 26 and that night he wanted to go outside; I haven't seen him since .

He doesn't know the area. Follow these suggestions: You will need to go find him. He is most likely hiding due to unfamiliar territory. Chances are he is very close but it is possible he is up to 3 blocks away, depending on when he got out and how scared he is. He is most likely to come out of hiding after dawn and dusk. You may have gone looking during the day with no results and this is normal. Take a flashlight and some smelly food/treats with you. Look under bushes, cars, etc. Look for the eyes and listen for cries. If you have a garage, Crack the door enough to let him in. Also, put some dirty clothing/linens out on the porch so he can smell his way home. DO NOT PUT OUT THE LITTER BOX! This attracts predators. Cats bury their waste so as not to attract predators. Be persistent and consistent. You may also want to purchase or borrow a humane trap. Look up on YouTube how to set it up. Set it up in the evening and check on it every 2 - 3 hours. Put some really attractive, smelly food in it. The reason you want to check it is because it will attract other animals as well.

I know it's a bit of a distance, but this kitty looks similar. Sometimes animals jump into work trucks or vehicles, ending in unexpected adventures 🥺 it's a long shot, but worth a try 🫶 https://www.facebook.com/share/p/14cUZogK6Dm/

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.
