Check area shelter “rehoming” sites or groups DAILY. Leave your garage door open a tiny bit and your gate open a bit as well if you don’t have a pool, other pets (or kids) that could get out. Join as many local lost & found groups as you can Stay away from scammers who say they have your dog and want money. Or scammers who want you to buy dron trips, or search dogs or contact this person or that person. There is a legit tracker K9 dog group but they are very expensive

Put their bed and your dirty clothes on the porch Post on Nextdoor, ring, and petco lost love Contact the microchip company and report them as lost. Make sure your contact info is up to date Report them as lost to your city shelter Tell your neighbors and mail carrier. Knock on doors, ask if they have cameras. Make clear, simple signs with an easily visible picture of what your pet most recently looked like. Try to just have your pet. Post around neighborhood and at local vets and pet stores. You can back them with neon paper also.
