Shelby Flood e currently we are up to $1700 in care costs for this dog. Most likely it was a local hunter running his dogs without trackers on them and good samaritans then get the fall out from them being irresponsible pet Owners. There are now 3 posted on paw boost. We are from Illinois this is not allowed in the Midwest and I find it absolutely abhorrent that hunting with dogs is allowed the way they do it. My family bred bird dogs. They had trackers and we never lost a dog. But running animals with dogs is not a sport and lazy hunting.

So sad. Thank you for caring for this baby. We rescued one just like this baby a few years ago that was dumped on our property. When these hunting dogs do not perform they often get dumped. Praying you will find the owners or find someone to care for this baby and make him part of their family. Ours has been the sweetest addition.
