Coat and nails well maintained, makes me think she has an owner out there! She is very timid but full of energy. Maybe 2 pounds, very tiny. Seems like a puppy, just hope she wasn’t dumped.

Sami Bruton thank you so much for replying and thank you both for helping her! I feel so much better that she’s in safe hands. I pray she finds a loving home. If she’s a good fit, I might even consider adopting when she’s available, keep me in mind, please. I’m a young retiree and have always owned small dogs, Chihuahuas are my favorite. Right now I have two senior rescues, they’re not in good health though.

Cindy Lee Blandford I was the one that found her. Her foster mom is a legitimate foster through Louie’s Legacy, although she fosters outside of that organization as well. We have posted just about everywhere we can think of. Notified local police and animals shelters in and around our area. Unfortunately there is not much else we can do besides keep posting and hoping someone comes forward with proof of ownership. She wasn’t chipped or spayed, so we aren’t sure what her backstory is.

Update - she is now with a foster! She spent the night with us last night and is such a sweetie. Her foster mom is a wonderful woman and she has a furry brother to keep her company. We will continue searching for the owner, if there is one! Meanwhile she will be taken to the vet for checkups and further vaccinations. Thank you everyone for sharing. Hopefully the owner comes forward!
