I don't know why people can't just put a collar on the dog with their information on it make it too easy to find who they belong to wouldn't it.

Make SURE you Require Multiple Proofs of True ownership!! Not just a photo of the dog...multiple photos of family With the doggy, official vet records, keep identifying marks to yrself-- make Them tell You!! Thank you for keeping this little safe!! Should get scanned for chip too... in case it id's someone Other than whi is trying to claim pup! 🙏🙏❤️🙏🙏

Definitely proof of ownership like Robin Lee L AW said. You can never be too careful. I would also take to any vet and have scanned for a microchip. It’s free to have this done. Thank you for keeping pup safe. You can even take to the shelter and let them deal with who the real owner is. Let them know you have a couple different people claiming pup is theirs. Just a thought. ♥️🐾
